The smallest house in the UK

The Smallest House in Great Britain, also known as Quay House, is located in Conwy Quay, North Wales. This minuscule home was built in the 16th century and remained in use until 1900.

The last tenant of its house was the tall (1.91 m) fisherman Robert Jones. The rooms were too small for him to stand up in fully and he had to move out. Soon the city council declared the house unsuitable for human habitation.
The house has a floor area of 3.05 by 1.8 metres (10.0 by 5.9 ft) with a red-painted facade. It stands near the Conwy Castle walls. The ground floor is a living area with space for coal and an open fire, and a water tap hidden behind the stairs. The upstairs holds the small bedroom, which also contains a niche for storage.
Now The Smallest House is a poular toristic attraction. When the house is open a lady in traditional welsh clothing stands outside tells visitors about the history of the house.
